Apprentice star to speak at new business event

Linda Plant, the fearsome new interviewer on BBC TV series The Apprentice, is the guest speaker at a new business event in Leeds focusing on sexual discrimination in the workplace.

Equality Exchange is being held at BPP University Law School in Leeds on 9 June with all proceeds going to the Joanna Project in Leeds which works with vulnerable women, trapped by life-controlling addictions and often involved in prostitution.

Organisers Exchange Chambers, in conjunction with Consilia Legal and Mothers Mean Business, say the event will become an annual fixture in the Yorkshire business calendar.  In addition to Linda Plant other speakers include barrister Ceri Widdett from Exchange Chambers and Marie Walsh from Consilia Legal.
